Cheryl Chamberlain

Cheryl created Chamberlain College Consulting in 2016 and serves students and their families throughout the country, concentrating in the Chicago area.

Cheryl has a B.A. in Public Relations Independent Plan of Study from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a J.D. with Honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a College Counseling Certificate with Distinction from UCLA Extension. She received additional education in career counseling at UC-Berkeley Extension and specialized training in essay writing.

Cheryl has volunteered throughout her life in civic and education-related matters including community leadership, volunteer teaching, mentoring, and serving on curriculum committees. She continues her volunteer work with Chicago Bound Opportunities and is an active member of IECA, serving on the Government Relations Committee.

Cheryl enjoys works with all types of students, including high achievers, student-athletes, and transfers. After a career in business litigation, she now focuses on her true passion for empowering teens to define their own success through education. She guides students by developing and highlighting their strengths, enabling them to access and excel at best fit colleges.
