Deidra Fisher

Deidra launched OneUp College Consulting in the summer of 2016 and serves students throughout Texas and the southeastern United States. She is a former high school English teacher at an International Baccalaureate school and holds a B.A. in English Literature and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Baylor University.

Deidra previously worked as a management consultant and in graduate school recruiting and admissions for the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Simmons School of Education.

She has also developed curriculum and programming for college prep classes through SMU’s Continuing and Professional Education program and for a local test prep company in the Dallas area. She is a frequent speaker on “all things colleges” for numerous educational and philanthropic organizations.
