CONNECTICUT
Lauren founded Tropp Educational Consulting in 2016 and works with students in all areas of Connecticut and throughout the United States.Â
She holds an A.B. with honors in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard College and is a graduate of the Independent Educational Consultants Association Summer Training Institute. After serving as a research consultant for a public relations and communications service and volunteering as a reading tutor for elementary school students, a teacher of adult English Language Learners, and a mentor to high school students serving as role models for elementary school students in classroom settings, she decided to pursue her goal of working with families to reduce stress and provide transparency in the college admissions process. She provides pro bono college planning programs to a cohort of STEM students at a local nonprofit as well as offering in person and online college planning sessions open to the public.
Lauren values the opportunity to work with students of all academic abilities and interests. Her expertise includes working with students with learning disabilities, twice exceptional students, and those reaching for the most selective universities. Her goal is to help students discover and better understand the wide array of colleges that can provide the opportunities and environment to enable their academic and personal success in college and beyond.
