Louise launched Confluence College Counseling in 2016. She has a BA in Human Biology and a JD from Stanford University.
She is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a Member of the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admissions Counseling (PNACAC) and Seattle Area College Consultants (SACC). She formerly served on the IECA College Committee, and the Tours Subcommittee and she has a Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA. In addition to working with private clients from Washington State and around the country, Louise volunteers with the non-profit organizations ScholarMatch and The Space Idaho. Recently, Louise worked as part of a team to develop the AXS Companion, a free, open, online resource to be used side-by-side with Common App by students applying to college. Prior to working as an IEC, Louise practiced law in the fields of Environmental Law and Indian Law.Â
Louise loves to guide students of all backgrounds through the process of exploring college options, helping them find colleges where they can discover and pursue their interests, be challenged, and thrive. She works to facilitate an application process that is personalized, organized, and rewarding.
