Nancy Ikenberry

Nancy launched Brightline Admissions in 2018 after completing her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA – completing her college counseling practicum at the Dawson School, a private school in Boulder County, Colorado.

For three years, Nancy also advised the Keith Country Day School in Rockford, Illinois on its college counseling curriculum and provided personalized essay and application assistance to its senior class. Nancy developed a heart for college-bound students over the past three decades engaged in the life of universities in Houston, Seattle, Champaign-Urbana, and Boulder with her husband a faculty member and Dean. She founded Brightline Admissions with this unique understanding of colleges and a desire to see students transition to independence and college success.

Nancy earned a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and currently serves as president of the College Consultants of Colorado. She works with a range of students and has a special passion for helping students tell their unique stories so they stand out in the competitive admissions landscape.
